My husband and I have been members of the Dallas Fort Worth Metro Golden Retriever Club (DFWMGRC) as well as the Golden Retriever Club of America (GRCA) since 1991. We only breed occasionally and are very proud of our Goldens. Our goal as breeders is to produce a healthy Golden with correct temperament, structure, and movement. We also believe strongly in educating the public and helping them find a healthy, well socialized puppy. We require all health clearances on all dogs in our breeding program, including OFA hip, OFA elbow, heart clearance (OFA), and a yearly eye clearance (CERF) examined by a board certified ophthalmologist.
I have shown and titled dogs in the breed ring as well as tracking, obedience and agility. I started Tracking and Obedience in 1991 and agility in 1992. We purchased our first show Golden in 1994 and have been involved in conformation ever since. Our first litter arrived on February 5, 2002, and began Kingdom Goldens.
Our puppies are whelped and raised in our family room where they are constantly surrounded by my family and the sights and sounds of everyday life. I allow my puppies outside for short periods of time around 3 1/2 weeks where they are watched closely and never left alone. All of my "pet" puppies are sold on a spay/neuter contract with Limited Registration.
